Linares is a bread case/table container handmane by women artisans from the small city of Linares, Nariño, at the south of Colombia. Designed in 1999, this is a relaunch colorful version inspired by the Carnaval de Negros y Blancos, a traditional holiday proclamed Inmaterial Cultural Heritage by Unesco. Linares is handcrafted by a traditional weaving technique that uses "iraca" natural fiber.
